Directing Work
Supervising Director Kamp Koral (Seasons 1 & 2 )
As a Supervising Director on Kamp Koral, it was my responsibility to take the storyboard from a first rough edit, through a plussing phase, revisions and then to a final animatic. I would direct my plussing team to add gags, story points, cinematic clarity and additional posing and acting to make the episode as clear and as funny as possible. I would then work with the editors to fine tune the timing and movements of the action to finalize the animatic and then send it off for the final approval of the showrunners. I then attended CG and design meetings to advise the rigging, texture and animation teams on the props, characters, BG's and special poses for each episode and kept a watchful eye over every element of the episode from a story perspective.

Beating Up the Bad Guys - Nickelodeon - (Physical Comedy)
In this episode, SpongeBob has to save the camp from a pair of convicts who try to use the camp as a hide out from the police. SpongeBob was supposed to use "Home Alone" style booby traps (made of jellyfish and items around camp) to defeat the bad guys. As Supervising Director, I was given the task of developing the gags into clear, funny and painful moments for the criminals and I think our team did a fantastic job!

Jellyfishing Master - Nickelodeon - (Action, Comedy)
In this section, we were to show SpongeBob skillfully collecting hundreds of jellyfish in an exciting and interesting way. In the over-arcing storyline of seasons 1 & 2, SpongeBob has not been able to catch ANY jellies, and this scene happens right after he finally succeeds at getting his "first catch," so the emotional resonance of his accomplishment had to be felt and pushed for the moment.
